HUNTINGTON BEACH — November 2, 2026. Huntington Beach’s Central Library is open more hours than its specialized Makerspace and Veterans Resource Center, according to the library’s live weekly calendar.
Makerspace availability
For the first week of November, the calendar lists Makerspace on Tuesday and Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is closed on the other days. Availability of individual machines or workshops can require a reservation or orientation.
Veterans Resource Center
The center is listed as open Monday–Thursday 2–6 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m.–1 p.m. during the same week. The calendar shows closure on Veterans Day, November 11.
Check the right department
Patrons seeking veteran benefits guidance, research equipment or creative workstations should contact the library in advance, rather than simply arriving during Central Library’s broader opening hours. The special-service calendar is the best starting point.
